The Wife and I have been wondering lately; just how German are our blog followers? Oh sure, tons of them are from Germany — they live there or speak the language — but do their cold, pessimistic hearts truly pump black, red and gold? And some of our followers are from different countries entirely — America, Canada, England, Turkey, Japan, etc. — and yet their souls are just as Teutonic as Frau Weinerjiggles down the street. You don’t have to be a German citizen to take this survey, so let’s find out just how German you really are.

I could see why Germans would want to tone down overt displays of patriotism, at least to keep the other European powers from getting nervous.

I am usually trying to duck and cover when I see German tourists abroad lest I be lumped together with them – yikes! The way they behave in public, Germans are the most embarrassing travellers there are, apart from Americans, of course ;)

I think that Germans, Americans and British are the worst travellers in the world, they all don’t show good behaviour (but of course there are exceptions! :-))
