Haystack – Making me homesick. Been at this site early in the morning after Hood to Coast many times. There is seriously something magic about it. I’m in Berlin and just got back from a hand to hand combat scene at the local Edeka where I lost my “you’re in another country so respect their customs” composure and yelled “bullshit” to the checker who wanted to rifle through my backpack (yet again) in case I might have tried to sneak out with a kartoffel or something. I am having one of those “what the hell is wrong with these people” days. A Portland craft brew, a discussion on the benefit of buying local, and maybe a rowdy Timbers match sound pretty good right now. RCTID !
