The German word “Bleigießen” refers to a New Year’s tradition in which small pieces of lead are melted over a candle and poured into cold water. The resulting hardened shapes are then interpreted into fortunes for the new year.
Our Bleigießen results, from left to right:
THE WIFE: “A tree.” (Wish-come-true)
ME: “A cock.” (*Not on the list*)
YETI: “Death carrying a baby.” (😱)
