The Death of a Deadline: How One Blogger Almost Blew His 5-Year Streak

I’ve been writing this blog since August of 2011, and I have never missed my self-imposed, 8:00am PST, Monday morning deadline. Not once, until today.

Well, technically I didn’t miss it — I mean, you are reading a new blog post right now — but it’s about three hours late, and that’s inexcusable.

I honestly don’t know what happened. I found myself so slammed with work and other surprise projects today I had absolutely no time to come up with a decent article. None. Not even enough time for some half-assed joke about my doo-doo hole.

It is a cheap, filthy cop out, — I know — and I apologize in advance; especially to those of you who follow us on Twitter (@mywifeisgerman) or Instagram (ohgodmywifeisgerman), because on top of everything else, you’ve already seen these stupid god damn pictures.

Okay. Deep breath. Stop typing so fast. I’ll do better next time.

Alright! So, for now, please click one of the thumbnails below to start the slideshow in lieu of the legitimate blog post I should have written:

Thank you for visiting our site and have an awesome day!
